The system behind the website
The core of my work for LOOP Fitness is API integration and automation development. The website is part of a broader system: centres, pricing, sign-ups, payments, bookings and the member area. The challenge is to connect these processes and turn them into an understandable user experience.
LOOP API integration
I developed and adapted the WordPress integration with the LOOP API to work with centres, pricing and member data. I worked on sign-up, the hand-off to the payment gateway and post-payment confirmation, as well as account, membership, invoice and reactivation screens. The interface interprets system states and presents the actions available at each stage.
Automation and communications
I worked on trial-class forms, availability queries and confirmations for both the customer and the centre, with access to Google Calendar. I also developed the Gravity Forms connection to Clientify to transfer contacts and attribution data. Communications work includes transactional templates and flows in SendGrid and WordPress: welcome messages, profiles, account recovery, cancellations and trial bookings.
UX for real workflows
I supported the technical integration with UX improvements: preselected centres and pricing, clear steps after payment, email-based access and a member area organised around everyday tasks. I worked on error messages and membership states so technical limitations would not result in confusing screens. Development respects the limits of external services and does not present features requiring changes to their APIs as already solved.
